Mission Statement

Kentucky Chinese American Association (KYCAA, formerly KYACAP), a non-profit and non-political organization, is committed to serving the communities in Kentucky by promoting the appreciation of Chinese culture and heritages and enhancing cross-cultural understanding through educational programs. KYCAA provides opportunities for interaction, networking, and collaborations among its members and between members and their communities.

2008 Moon Festival Celebration and Picnic

Event Report: Heart to Heart China Earthquake Relief

On May 31, 2008, the Kentucky Chinese American Association (KYCAA) held a send-off event at the Lexington Chinese Christian Church. 225 cases of surgical gloves and 300 portable water purifiers were purchased and being shipped to Chengdu, China via UPS and United Airlines.

KYACAP participated in this year's Lexington Cultural Diversity Festival. Our volunteers worked at the booth from 12 pm to 11 pm. Hundreds of visitors stopped by at the booth. They expressed great interest in Chinese culture as well as the Association.
